Power’s Emergency Preparedness Kit is a unique power solution
designed to meet the basic communication and lighting needs of
victims of natural disasters and blackouts as well as rescue personnel.
The heart of the Emergency Preparedness Kit is the IP1208PP Power
Pack, a 12V, 8Ah source of power that can be recharged from
the sun, from the wall or from the cigarette lighter (DC outlet)
receptacle of a car or truck.
With the included wall charger, the Emergency Preparedness Kit
can be kept charged so it will be ready to use immediately during
a power outage. The Power Pack comes equipped with a detachable
cigarette lighter receptacle (DC plug) that can, when used with
a car adapter cord, power/recharge a wide range of devices including
cell phones, |
laptop
PCs up to 3.5A, two-way radios and lighting products. Power can
be provided to these devices during sustained power outages caused
by blackouts, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, etc. Once the
sun is shining, the Power Pack can be recharged with the built-in
solar module, eliminating the need for gas-powered generators.
